Welcome to the New Star Children’s Theatre!
New Star Children’s Theatre offers a unique program of musical theatre for children ages seven to fifteen in the Ottawa area. Ours is a place where children can be themselves and are accepted by everyone. Every child gets a part in every production, which means that every child is a star!
New location! We’re moving – our rehearsals will now take place at the Chad Wolfe School of Dance and Music, 22 Caesar Avenue, Ottawa.
The program consists of two main programs per year and three Performing Arts Program camps each summer.
All of our programs include the following:
- Singing
- Acting
- Dancing
- There are also opportunities for assisting in
- Stage Management
- Directing
- Lighting and Sound

Location and schedule
We’re moving! Our new rehearsal location will be revealed shortly.

Rehearsals are held twice weekly through the fall, winter and spring months. We rehearse on Sundays from 1:00PM to 5:00PM and Tuesdays from 6:30pm – 8:30pm Please note that these hours increase as showtime approaches. For more information, please contact us.
