New Star School Program
For 33 years New Star has taught in elementary schools offering education in music through Musical Theatre.
Most often children have not been exposed to many of the Arts so they are usually hesitant at first in these programs. However, it doesn’t take very long before they start to realize it is “fun” to actually sing, dance and act, and are quite proud of what they can accomplish.
To be able to express oneself through music encourages and instills confidence in every child and carries over to every aspect of their lives.
Programs available to Ottawa schools
- Glee Clubs where we sing and dance with joy and enthusiasm
- Drama Clubs where the script becomes important as well as song and dance
- Interactive Workshops where we complete a program in just 2 to 3 hours
- Full Musicals where auditions are held in your school, and the whole school becomes an integral part of the production of a musical. This can be an excellent fundraiser!
